VIP – Interviews/Sessions : @ LA Thompson Art Gallery

In past events, we’ve had good experiences and bad ones.  The best have been at festivals where we have one-on-one interviews and spontaneous performances with the Artists.  We will be setting up our VIP area at LA Thompson’s Art Gallery…right in the heart of all the action.  Here’s the owner, An Thompson, setting up the event and talking about the excitement of the upcoming Music Festival.

Beautiful Disturbance : Live @ Hitmusiclink Music Festival : Sept. 24th, 2011

Beautiful Disturbance

Beautiful Disturbance is an “in your face” musical experience that has to be encountered in person. The live explosion draws you in as the lyrics penetrate your soul. Heavily influenced by Hard and Heavy Rock, they continually dive deeper into new auditory territory. This 4 piece band from Waco, Texas was officially formed in March of 2010 with a simple mission…to rock your soul and change your life! The band bleeds passion, one which you realize when you experience them live and meet them in person. The approach towards music and life with this band is to give everything and hold nothing back. There is no “plan B.”

Donna Beckham : Live @ Hitmusiclink Music Festival : Sept. 23-24th, 2011

Donna Beckham

Donna Beckham hates to say, ‘I told you so.’ But, well…“It’s an I-told-you-so album,” Beckham said of I Got The T-Shirt, released in May 2008.

The Texas native’s second album is an emotionally-charged effort. Beckham drew from the death of a friend, the breakup of her longtime band, and all manner of human relationship as lyrical fodder. Her vivid storytelling and tightened sound make I Got The T-Shirt a solid springboard off her well-received self-titled 2006 debut.  Currently, she is touring and scheduling performances across Texas…and most importantly, looks forward to performing for Fans at the Hitmusiclink Music Festival…

Allen Brown Country Band : Live @ Hitmusiclink Music Festival : Sept. 23-24th, 2011

Allen Brown Country Band

“ In his bio, Brown says he “has stayed true to his love of ‘Real Country Music’ but has added his own flair that he refers to as ‘allentude’”. If you aren’t familiar with “allentude,” than you obviously haven’t met Allen Brown, probably never been to Texas, and certainly haven’t heard him with his marvelous new band.Don’t let the title of this album fool you. There isn’t one disaster, natural or otherwise, on any track of this CD. It has all the components of a hit album, besides, I decided from the git go it might not be wise to utter a disparaging word about any band that comes from Gun Barrel City, Texas. All kidding aside this is the best album to come across my desk in several months. As I listened to this album, I did find myself wondering if country super star Tracy Lawrence might have a twin because lead singer Brown sure sounds a lot like him on several tracks.”
