Chris Low Band : Live @ Hitmusiclink Music Festival : Sept. 23-24, 2011

Chris Low Band

My name is Chris Low, I am the lead singer/songwriter, and due to the ever changing environment that goes with being a musician, I am currently seeking instrumentalists (lead guitar, drummer, bass) interested in re-forming the band formerly known as Southbound, now to be known as The Chris Low Band.

The band is a blend of Texas Country/Red Dirt covers and majority of very well received original Texas Country. Recently, Southbound has received local airplay for the original song, What Home Means, written by Chris Low, and this song has been fondly referred to as The Waco Song amongst the community. You can go to my website, www.southboundwacotx.com and click the play now button to hear a sampling of my writing style and also click the video button to see a segment from a live accoustic set at Tradinghouse Bar and Grill.

Allen Brown Country Band : Live @ Hitmusiclink Music Festival : Sept. 23-24th, 2011

Allen Brown Country Band

“ In his bio, Brown says he “has stayed true to his love of ‘Real Country Music’ but has added his own flair that he refers to as ‘allentude’”. If you aren’t familiar with “allentude,” than you obviously haven’t met Allen Brown, probably never been to Texas, and certainly haven’t heard him with his marvelous new band.Don’t let the title of this album fool you. There isn’t one disaster, natural or otherwise, on any track of this CD. It has all the components of a hit album, besides, I decided from the git go it might not be wise to utter a disparaging word about any band that comes from Gun Barrel City, Texas. All kidding aside this is the best album to come across my desk in several months. As I listened to this album, I did find myself wondering if country super star Tracy Lawrence might have a twin because lead singer Brown sure sounds a lot like him on several tracks.”
